This Trend Is Off-The-Chain

Hey Siri, play "The Chain" By Fleetwood Mac

Having already been well-accustomed to chain jewelry (you know, the ones we have been rocking for almost a year in hopes of elevating your loungewear and sweat sets during the pandemic-mandated bouts of quarantine and self-isolation), what we're seeing now is the chain trend being incorporated into accessories spanning far beyond what we already know.

With the quick rise in popularity and affinity for pretty much anything New Bottega, chain-adorned accessories have pretty much been taking the industry by storm. It was only a matter of time before the fashion house put a new spin on their well-received "The Pouch" bag, allowing it to metamorphose into the two-point-oh version, fittingly dubbed "The Chain Pouch".

Perhaps it was the contrast of the slouchy yet chic silhouette of the bag with the luxe yet industrious-looking chain that, not only created the perfect storm but an even higher and more elevated version of an industry favourite bag.

Eventually chain detailing migrating to other bags like "The Chain Tote," "The Chain Cassette," "The Belt Chain Pouch" as well as certain shoe styles, of which quickly became what seems to be incognito branding for Bottega Venetta.

Jumping on this trend was really a no-brainer, considering that it is so attainable and affordable to execute. There is no need to purchase a whole new bag, but simply a chain bag strap that will immediately give your bag a trendy update and a new lease on life.
