Five Celebrities Who's Street Style You Should Be Paying More Attention To

We love our celebrity street style staples, but who says we can't look to some fresh faces for some new inspiration?

You've only had to have visited Pinterest a handful of times to know that the platform is flooded with images of Kendall Jenner, Hailey Baldwin, and Bella Hadid, of whom are considered to be street style royalty in the fashion industry. And as much as I love the style of the aforementioned peoples, I do like to mix up where my inspiration comes from, and have come to realize that there are a few celebrities with great style that go criminally unnoticed. So, I thought I would share my findings with you.

JENNIFER LAWRENCE

Part of why we probably don't see much of Jennifer Lawrence's street style is becuase we often don't see much of her at all. She is quite a private in her personal life, and doesn't prefer to be caught living it up and being photographed by paparazzi every other day. However, Jennifer can't escape the camera-infested streets of New York City, where she resides. And luckily for us, it has allowed us a closer look at her personal style.

I honestly think people would expect Jennifer to be wearing a stained t-shirt and a pair obscure sneakers, purely based on the way her television persona comes across. When in reality Jennifer is a true lover of fashion and has an incredible and original sense of style that incorporates a mix of effortlessness, elegance and chicness. Infamously working tons of designer brands, and infamously posing for Dior as the face of brand and perfume campaigns, she's positioned herself to take on serious power in the street style world if only we would see more of her on the actual streets!

LADY GAGA

Gone are the days of meat dresses and geometric dresses. Lady Gaga has entered a new era of her career and subsequently her style, one that is much less wild and way more relaxed. As Gaga gained more of a commanding presence in the music industry, that influence has also crossed over into the fashion and beauty space, causing her style to deviate from eccentric newcomer to a grungy and edgy queen.

Gaga's new style veers toward a more grown-up and polished aesthetic while maintaining a grungy twist and a few unconventional elements from her early days. But, what might be the most significant change in her style is the fact that her outfits look much more comfortable and practical! And although you may catch her in her signature sky-high platform heels every once in a while, you're much more likely to find her rocking a t-shirt and a casual pair of jeans.

HILARY DUFF

Hilary Duff is Hollywood's sweetheart and had been since we first saw her on the generation-transcending show Lizzie McGuire. But unlike her character's flashy and early 2000's-esque wardrobe, Hilary has quite subdued and simple style, which perfectly compliments the fact that she is not all about the Hollywood scene, and is more focused on being a mom to her two, soon-to-be three children. But that doesn't mean she has to sacrifice style!

Hilary's style is rather simplistic, but sometimes you can't be the perfection of a classic t-shirt, jeans, and heeled boot combination which you can always almost find her in. Almost like an unofficial uniform she's adopted over time. While it may be basic and boring through the lens of Hollywood stylists who spend hours upon hours in fittings with their clients, creating looks to run simple "errands" we, in the real world, view this as practical.

KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN

Half sister of the previously-mentioned Kendall Jenner and part of one of the most famous families in the world, Kourtney Kardashian has serious style game and follows the same mantra that she has laid out for her life (as seen time and time again on Keeping Up with the Kardashians): play by your own rules. Compared to her sister Kim, who often sports outfits that spark trends and fashion movements, Kourtney's style is less contrived, but still totally on point.

Though Kourtney can get down with a glam moment when the time calls for one, more often than not you'll find her in rather sleek-looking but toned down outfits. These can vary from a neutral jumpsuit for some shopping in New York City to a pair of biker shorts, sweatshirt and sneakers for a day out with her kids. Even though Kourtney's style always seems to be changing, she does often go for mainly classic pieces that bring a sense of timelessness to her look, and contrasts with a really trendy item.

SELENA GOMEZ

As one of the most famous women in the world, it seems like we've seen Selena Gomez grow up in front of our eyes, and grow into a really distinct and particular style. What I've always liked about Selena is her ability to be comfortable yet cool, which sounds much simpler than it is. Perhaps the most defining quality about her outfits is that they always look so effortless— like she just grabbed a bunch of pieces, slipped them on and ran out the door.

In my opinion, her style would best be described as vintage-chic; simple yet always teeming with personality and charm. The contents of Selena's outfits are entails items that any woman would have in their closets (making it easy for her style to be recreated). But what I absolutely love about Selena is that she always kicks it up a notch and will incorporate really unique and interesting pieces, that are unique enough to add quirky element but still staying really chic and not losing that key element of relatability. The relatable quality that Selena possesses is also the key to why she has such well-liked style.
